A CMS is a set of tools, which enables non-technical people (and technical people) to create, edit, manage and finally publish a variety of content. A CMS allows you to edit the content of your website yourself, in your own timeframe and as often as you want.

What is a Content Management System (CMS)?
A CMS is a set of tools, which enables non-technical people (and technical people) to create, edit, manage and finally publish a variety of content. A CMS allows you to edit the content of your website yourself, in your own timeframe and as often as you want.

What does having a CMS mean to you and your website?
· You don't need professional web designers or developers to edit the content of your website
· No need for education to learn HTML or how to use special software - it all runs online!
· You will no longer need to pay money for simple content alterations
· Your website content can be regularly updated, which means your site's search engine ranking will be better (i.e. Google, Yahoo, AltaVista or WebWombat).

What does a CMS allow you to do you?
· Easily edit your website content
· Add new content
· Upload and insert images
· Add new menu items to link to your new pages (depending on your design)
· Insert tables and format content using a WYSWYG (MSWord style) editor.
